Connecting your community with your values in a creative, meaningful fundraiser builds bridges between people and fosters grassroots giving. We are grateful for your depth of generosity and courage to care.
Our team is more than willing to help you launch a fun and successful fundraising event that is aligned with our work. We ask and Squamish shows up in so many ways. Examples of successful past community fundraising events include:
Law of Thirds Birthday Parties: each guest gives $3 to birthday celebrant who spends $1, saves $1, and donates $1
Community Contribution Days: registered professionals (RMTs, mental health counsellors, or other service providers) offer pay by donation sessions for an entire day
Social Media Campaigns: individuals ask friends to donate in lieu of gifts on special occasions
Bottle Depot Donations: throw a party then collect the empties. Print a sticker at the Squamish Bottle Depot (link) to donate the earnings from your cans and bottles directly to us.
Our community kit provides support, tools, and ideas that can help inspire innovative events and develop a simple structure for receiving donations on our behalf. Download the “Create Your Own Fundraiser Toolkit” below for more ideas.
