Volunteer at Squamish Helping Hands
We are always looking for more helping hands!
Whether you are interested in volunteering for our kitchen, subcommittees, special projects, marketing, or sitting on our Board of Directors, we have a job to match your skill. If you’d like more information on how you can lend a hand, contact us at volunteer@underoneroofsquamish.ca
Squamish Helping Hands is now using the Volunteer Connector for all of our volunteer positions.

Things to know about volunteering with Squamish Helping Hands
- Most volunteer positions require a criminal record check. This is free and we provide the online link for volunteers to complete the consent.
- As we work with vulnerable adults, for most volunteer positions, volunteers must be over 18 years of age. Volunteers must be a minimum of 15 years of age and those between 15 and 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Many positions require a committment to a regular schedule. Consistency of relationships is important to those we serve and also essential so that we can operate our programs. Having said this, we do also have on-call positions.
Other Ways To Volunteer
For families, groups and those unable to commit to a regular schedule, there are lots of other ways you can help Squamish Helping Hands.
