There are many ways to Donate
We are building wellness, community and purpose for people in Squamish.
Donations help ensure that individuals receive support in working towards their self-determined goals. This includes access to housing, healthy food, access to mental health services, health care, income assistance, and social programming to build their capacity and well-being.

Donate Online
You can donate to our general fund, or select a specific fund such as the Community Food Response Fund. Select a fund on the online donation form.
You can also make a donation in honour of someone and send an e-card using the online portal.
Donate Stocks and Mutual Funds
A donation of securities or mutual funds is the most efficient way to give charitably. Since capital gains taxes don't apply, our charity receives the full fair market value when the security is sold, and you get a tax receipt which reflects your larger contribution. This allows you to give more and get more.
Sponsor a child
A one-time donation of $400 will provide a child with a nutritious school lunch and breakfast for an entire year.
Donate through your will
Leaving a gift to charity in your will is one of the easiest and most popular ways to give. Having a will gives you the power over the distribution of your assets. You can leave a gift to Squamish Helping Hands with the addition of a simple clause.
Donate Items
We are always in need of clothing, toiletries, First Aid supplies, and other bits and bobs. We have developed guidelines for the Hygiene Bank, Clothing Bank, as well as other items we accept and items we are unable to accept.
Food Donations
We accept food donations from grocery stores, restaurants, food distributors, caterers, special events etc. If you would like more information about participating in our Food Rescue and Distribution program, please email info@shhs.ca.
